Having recently returned to South Korea after a years travelling I met a monk who I'd seen before at a fort up in the mountains. Through some contacts I was able to put in motion one of my favourite photography shoots of all time. This monk was kind enough to indulge me, with everyone very pleased with the results, which would then go on to be published. Not long after I took these he sadly passed away. The image on the right was printed and displayed by his widow up at their mountain house and shrine. Cheong San you were an amazing man, it was a privilege to meet and photograph you.
